So today we're talking about Mona Skin. They are the Italian pop rock band that has become a sensation over the past year.

They won Eurovision, an insanely popular music competition, and since then, they've opened for the Rolling Stones and collaborated with both Iggy Pop and Tom Morello.

The Italian fashion house Gucci gave them a bunch of shiny new clothes, and the Grammys gave them a nomination for

Best New Artist.

Boniscan recently released their third album, Rush, and we felt the need to see what all

the fuss was about.

For those who might not be familiar with Monoskin, can you give us a little bit of background, having spent so much time?

Yeah.

Let me set the table here.

So Monoskin is an Italian rock band, like you said. There are four members of

the band, singer Damiano David, bassist Victoria de Angeles, guitarist Thomas Raji, and drummer Ethan

Torchio. And there's a great article in variety by Gem Oswald that gets at some of their history,

so I'm pulling a lot from that. Monoskin officially formed in 2015 when Damiano, Thomas, and Victoria were all teenagers

...
