So Fran, thanks for coming back on the show and let's talk about narcissism, but before we do that, let's introduce ourselves.

My name is Dr. Kirk Honda, I'm a therapist and a professor. Who are you, Fran?

Hi, I'm Francis Schopik.

I am an MSW as well as an attorney.

I work these days as an attorney.

I represent, I represent counselors or Department of Health Licencies who have problems

with DOH complaints, as well as I give talks on record keeping and various risk management issues disclosure forms documentation speaking

in court various things like that.

Yeah I would call you Fran a super expert on ethics and on legal matters when it comes to us in the

mental health field.

There are people who are experts who might teach continuing education classes and then there are super experts who perhaps know no more than anyone else based on their experience and their dedication to the topic and you're one of those people so

thanks for joining us but today we're going to be talking about narcissism yeah and we

you and I have not talked about anything prior to this moment so I have no idea what's going to

come out of your face. What kind of things do you want to talk about? I've been giving

talks in the community that have three parts to them. One is called Are You a Narcissist Magnet?

One is called How to Repel a Narcissist.

And the third is how to recover from relationships

with a narcissist and deciding what's right for you.

Now these talks are based from the point of view of a person who finds him or herself

constantly getting into a repeated pattern of having basically the same relationship over and over

with someone who fails to put their needs either first or even equal to their own.

So that's one way of looking at the problem.
