And while I've told this story before on a Tik-Tok and Instagram video a few years ago,

I didn't realize the extent of what the child in today's story experienced at the hands of her mother.

A woman who by all accounts had everything going for her.

She graduated valedictorian from school. She was the homecoming queen and she raced up the Navy ranks.

Yet here I am telling you a tragic story.
