Now when you started out at HubSpot, it was a small Boston company.

Now it's a large, publicly traded, global company. You've seen a lot of change.

Why do people have such a hard time adapting to change at work? I think change is hard for any human

beings. It just so happens that work is a laboratory in which all that human change tends to

take place. The other thing that I always come back to is that work is personal for people.

And so often change results in people being pushed into roles they don't want to be in

or being thrust into roles they're not ready for.
