Welcome to True Scary Story. Michael and his friends are used to staying up very late, unsupervised. But at one point they pick up an unusual way to pass the time, opening up a line of communication with an entity that begins to torment them,

manifesting itself in ways that affected those that were there that night.

My name is Edmond, and here is Michael. The story takes place in

Meckula in the summer of 1999. When we had first moved there, it was a growing community.

Wasn't much to do out there. We had friends that were moving from Riverside County,

from San Diego County. This is during the time when a lot of kids were latchkey kids.

Both my parents were working. They had a business. A lot of the times, they weren't home.

It was just me and my siblings, we had to fend for ourselves. When we came home from school, we cooked our dinner, we cooked,

we were very independent because our parents weren't home that gave us a lot of freedom to do whatever we wanted to do.
