Hey guys this is Jonathan and Melissa Helzer. We're here in Sophia North Carolina at our home and we are in the first week of

October and this truly is one of our favorite seasons of the year not just

because of the beauty of the weather but because this is the time that we host our

discipleship school the 18 inch journey and we are right in the middle of a beautiful school.

In fact this is our Twelt school we're hosting this year.

We have 90 staff and students living here on the land and we're watching the Gospel of Jesus

transform these lives, watching community and the love of God, do what it does,

transform the human heart.

And we wanted to step away from the school this afternoon and let you guys have a sneak peak at a new album that's coming out actually next Friday October the 11th and this is the second half of the We Rise We Bow Project.

And we released back in June the first five tracks called We Rise.

And this is the second half of the album we bow. If you've gotten our vinyl or

the compact disc you've you maybe have heard all these songs but the rest of the world

hasn't heard them and we want to introduce you to the artist that will be singing these songs, the songwriters, musicians,

and just to give you guys some context, Kagesburgs is the collective that leads the 18 inch journey schools and all of these guys have been through our school at some point and have joined us in carrying the dream of the discipleship school.

And we recorded this album here in North Carolina

with our dear friend Stephen Price produced mix

and recorded this album.

Stephen actually did our school a few years ago.

And our dream for this album is that it would capture the sound of North Carolina.

You can hear it on the fiddles, the banjos, the lap steals, the lapstills, the acoustic guitars, and it also would be an album that would capture the songs that our community is writing.

So this album opens with my favorite song, truly is my favorite song because it's Melissa's song, and it opens up with a song called White as Snow and this song is just a joy bomb to my heart and I'm going to let Melissa take over and tell you
