Hey guys this is Jonathan and Melissa Helzer and we're here at our house in Sofia, North Carolina.

And we want to welcome you guys to a really special podcast.

We are about to let you guys hear an album that the rest of the world has not heard yet and because you're the faithful who

follow our podcast you get to hear it before the rest of the world.

And this record that we're releasing this week is really special to me and Melissa. We've been pouring really the last

almost two years into writing, recording, and helping produce this beautiful album. And it's not just an album for me and Melissa, it's an album from the collective

we lead called the Cajless Birds. And we are releasing this album in two parts. The first part is being released June 21st and the second part

October the 11th and my beautiful wife over here named the album when we were

dreaming about the release and what do we call in this

record? We rise, we bow. So we rise is the first half and we bow is the second half.

This Friday we rise will rise will come out and it will be released on all your beautiful

streaming platforms or you could download it on, one very special thing about this record is we are

releasing it on vinyl and on June 29th the vinyl will come out. And if you get the vinyl, you actually

get to hear the whole project ahead of time.

You get to hear the Wii Rise and we Bowel.

And it's really fun because we rise is side A and we bow is side B. And this is from our

collective the Cageless Birds and we just want to give you guys some context for

who the Cageless Birds are and really what me and Melissa are pouring our life into.

We have a lot of people now who know us through Bethel Music and they think we live in Redding California.

Although we love Redding, we don't live there. We really love North Carolina.

We're based here in the heart in North Carolina and that's where the Cajless Birds are from

and I'm going to let Melissa share a little bit with you guys about who the Cajless Birds are
