So Mayo going in to the Let Loose event on Tuesday, what was your overall like vibe check?

There seemed to be more hype than usual. Apple saying it was going to be a different kind of event.

Then kind of what we got was the same, but going into it, what were you thinking

would be the case?

Yeah, I mean those like superatives they throw out now where it's like a different kind of event

or in like scary fast

they they just use different words each time they have a dictionary and they you know

go down the thesaurus and they pick words that are all synonyms of like

exciting and fun and special.

So when they say call it a different kind of event, I didn't really put much stock in that

in terms of it actually being any different and as it transpired it was very much

the same formula but ignoring the the marketing

blurbs I was pretty hyped I think the the room is good obviously we had the late

breaking stuff with the M4 and the Apple pencil stuff and literally the day before the website

had like the Apple Pencil Pro leak

where the Japanese

the Japanese version of Apple.com

labeled the event logo as the person holding an Apple pencil pro,

which very rarely did you get like the marketing brand leaks like that on

Apple's own website but it happened and they never actually took it down.

I guess they just thought it was way too late They just left it there until the, you know, until the store went down.
