And so, I mean, they made the Dostrante-Marie deal.

And it was like, okay, well, this sets the table.

Now they need to do all this

other stuff. None of which has happened. They've had this season that has gone completely off the rails.

And Brandon Ingram, still there. Siege of a column, still there. The other guys mostly probably

make some sense. And so the Pelicans are simultaneously a little bit over the tax. So the single most likely thing to happen at this

time is the- Can they sign Cara Lewis and wave them? Would that get them under? Sadly, no. But the single

most likely thing that would happen is them doing something. That could be just offloading

Giovante Green or Jeremiah Robinson-Earl. There are a number of different smaller ways they could do.

Or it could be as a part of a bigger deal, depending on how all that gets structured.

So I'll note that at the outset.

Like, they will do something that gets them out of the tax.

This team will not pay the tax, not only because they don't pay the tax, but because they're terrible.

And also, Tice and Javante Green are on minimum contracts, and Jake noted this yesterday, which I thought was a really good point, that they are guys who aren't that great, but they also can just be acquired by any team, even if they're in the second April.

And so they can be acquired by any team and they're capable players. So the field is open to them. I wouldn't be surprised to see

one or both of those guys just get offloaded in a move like that. Yeah. And quickly, if they

were able to move on from both of those guys, because they're at 14 players right now, if they could
