2020 is here and with a new year comes a new and fresh devotion to Christ.

Let's talk about it.

Hello, hello, hello, ladies and gents and welcome welcome to this week's episode of the Bot and Beloved

podcast. Now, today is a special day, depending if you're listening when it comes out.

If you are watching the YouTube video when it comes out on the day it comes out,

then this comes out on the very last day of 2024, December 31st.

But if you are listening to the audio on the day it drops,

it's January 1st, 2025. So regardless of when you listen, even if it's halfway through the year,

or years from now when this episode drops, happy new year. And I'm so excited and expectant for 2025. Maybe I'll look back on this and be like,

girl, why did you say that? Because that's what I said about years past. But truly, I'm feeling

very hopeful about 2025. I think that 2023 was a lot. Um. 2024 was a lot as well.

But in a lot of good ways, I feel like I'm starting to begin walking in my relationship with God again in a fresh way, in a purposed way.

And I think that's just important for us as believers to do is to continually go back to Christ and enjoy

the simplicity and to enjoy the first things. He is our first love after all. And so I know that

as some of us wrap up the year, maybe you're looking back and you're like, I feel like I wasted

this year, or I feel like I didn't live up to my potential this year. Or there were things I wanted to

accomplish and maybe I worked towards them in the first few weeks or months even. But then I got

sidelined. I got distracted. I just gave into maybe what was easy or I just started stewarding

my time in different ways. And you feel 2024 was maybe a waste of a year.

I just want to remind you that you can start fresh with God at any time, specifically if you're

listening to this outside of the time frame in which I'm uploading it.
