Although this is actually the very first episode

of my brand new podcast called Modern Finance.

I'm excited to launch this show

and tell you what it's about,

but I think I need to take a step back

and really unpack for you why I think it's so important

that this show exists today and why you should subscribe.

So I wrote a report that said for the very first time

in Q4 of 2020,

there have been more institutional money

going into purchase cryptocurrency than retail.

So what does that mean?

That means that VC firms, funds, family offices

of billionaires, big corporations,

ones like Square and Tesla,

the two that have made announcements that they bought crypto,

all of these big firms with hundreds of billions of dollars

are now buying cryptocurrency at a rate

that is outpacing consumers.
