And this week, given the fact it was just on the eve of International Dawn Chorus Day,

what else could we talk about? Birds. a very good morning to you i'm going to

you a wee bit of a sort of word picture here i saw this on the way in this morning a bit of open woodland

at the side of the road a bit like scottish savannah right it's a flat calm day this morning blue

skies the sun wasn't quite up yet and there was just a skein of mist

not terribly thick five or six feet thick

about eight or nine feet off the ground

and it stretched for about quarter of a mile

and running underneath this veil

were two road deer

it's just beautiful just beautiful
