Summary

In honor of the holidays I needed another story with a positive ending! I first saw Thad's story on I Survived and I was in utter shock! This case is one of our few child Not Me, Not Today stories and it proves, yet again, kids are so resilient. I had the honor of meeting a boy this week at work that has been through some of the toughest circumstances a human can endure and he did it with strength and a smile. As an adult it really put things in perspective for me, I am so inspired by these kids and I hope you are too! Moral of the story... "We can’t control all the variables in our lives. It’s about what we do with opportunities revoked or presented to us that determine how a story ends." - David Goggins Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
