I sure hope that this moment is finding you reasonably well.

And as I think of you, the listener in this moment,

I am wondering what motivates you, what motivates you to decide to listen to this show?

If I had to guess, based on the many contacts I've gotten from listeners over the years,

the most common refrain I have heard is that listening to this show is sometimes a way

for people to feel like they're connecting to a broader yoga world.

Maybe you don't live in a big city or maybe the yoga centers around you are great, but it's

not like you have access to the full breadth of all the different traditions and different teachers and whatnot.

And many people, I think, have turned to this show to get exposed to different kinds of

teachers and just continue learning as a practitioner and as a teacher.

And to just spend time listening to other people talk about yoga stuff,

just geeking out on yoga stuff. And over the years, I've always really tried to do my best

to feel like I could tap into the zeitgeist of the moment. You know, what's happening with teachers out there?

What are people doing in terms of different marketing? And, you know, I try to talk about the

business aspect as well as sort of the substantive process of teaching and generating classes and
