Hello everybody and welcome back to another episode of NerdSoup.

I am Beau Oliver, join here today with Aaron the NerdSoup Monkey and we are here to review

the very first episode of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series.

One of the most highly anticipated Star Wars productions of the last few years, bringing

back some familiar faces, you and McGregor obviously is Obi-Wan, hating Christians and coming

back as Darth Vader, so it's definitely a show a lot of Star War fans are excited for,

I think.

You can never tell with this fan base.

Before we get into this review, I want to let you guys know that you can listen to this

So I just said in the intro that we will be reviewing episode one on this video but had

no idea that they were releasing parts one and two so we will be reviewing both parts.

And this first episode was directed by Mandalorian veteran Deborah Chow who will be directing

every part, that's actually something that I like that instead of giving them titles

they're going to part one, part two, similar to the original saga.

And yeah this episode, after watching it, my main takeaway was I'm familiar with a lot

of this, Tatooine, that's a familiar planet, Obi-Wan, you and McGregor, fantastic actor.

The inquisitors, they've been in the shadows, I'm aware of their presence but that was

also cool.

Uncle Owen, in my mind I keep calling him Uncle Ben, I don't know why he's become the
