Washerman here, previewing the national championship game between Ohio State and Notre Dame

down in Atlanta.

Dahlon, the first ever 12-team playoff has now been whittled down to two.

We got Ohio City against Notre Dame.

It's just the amount of games that we have previewed this year. We previewed a hundred

222 games this year. I can't believe we've made it all the national title game. And it feels

surreal almost. And these are two teams that we've previewed a lot because they've been playing in

so many kind of almost

winner go home games with all the adversity they've gone through obviously the playoff games you

had the northern illinois loss for notre dame you had the first oregon loss and then and then the

michigan loss obviously for ohio state that had them in the spotlight i mean i think you have

two teams here that went through a ton of adversity this year, right?

And it might not seem like their top programs, this and that.

But Notre Dame played with their backs against the wall all season.

And Ohio State, of course, with their roster, went into this, went into this season and went through it with as much criticism as any team in the country.

I think it's a perfect example, though, in football.

And I know, you know, everybody wants to see whoever go undefeated.

That's what we wait for.

That's what Nick Saban got us used to.

But I think at its core and in the higher levels you get into football, that's what it's about, right?

Bear Bryant used to talk like that at Alabama, whereas how many times can you get back up, right, from getting punched in your teeth, right?
