Everybody, it's David Fluff. Welcome to Campaign HQ. Well, this will be our final episode pre-election

0:14.3

where we have kind of taken a tour around the country to some of the key states. We'll

0:18.2

have an episode next week to be determined exactly what we're going to do there based

0:22.5

on the results. But we're going to end our tour of the country with the State of Ohio,

0:27.5

which is, most of you know, has a surprisingly competitive U.S. Senate race, but also has

0:33.2

a couple of key house races and also want to talk about some of the state house races.

0:38.6

So we're going to start today with a conversation with Anna Staver. We're going to talk to Anna

0:43.2

about the Senate race, the Ryan Vance race, which is a dead heat race right now. Talk

0:48.3

about a couple of the key U.S. house races in Ohio as well as some of the state and local

0:53.3

races. So get a sense from her about what's happening on the ground. And then I want

0:57.2

to talk to Dave Chase, who's the campaign manager for Tim Ryan. We've had a lot of great

1:01.9

candidates and a lot of great campaigns. This cycle around the country, one of the reasons

1:06.0

Democrats, you know, stole a good chance to hold onto the Senate. Hopefully, you know,

1:10.8

maybe if not holding onto the house, keep the margin down when some of these key governors

1:15.7

races. But, you know, I think the Ryan campaign has been a tremendous campaign in terms

1:20.9

of a state that, you know, I think a lot of people assume that the Republicans will know

1:25.3

how comfortably. Sadly, we've seen drift in that stage share around 18 race really being

1:30.0

the exception to that, you know, the state becoming more and more red after, you know, we had

1:35.2

had some success winning it in presidential races and governor and Senate races. But this

1:39.4

is a dead heat race. And the question will be, Tim Ryan, can he get to 50? Clearly, the race

1:45.2

is going to be exceedingly close. And I'm excited to talk to Dave really about the state of Ohio,

1:50.4

which is to walk through the state, some of the industrial parts of the state, both in
