Welcome on to a Sunday night edition of Dunkton.

So many good games this weekend.

One of them was inter-conference that we decided we're going to watch some games over the weekend, get to the 50 and 60 later in the week.

So, Dan, let us talk about what took place in Oklahoma City today between the Thunder and Nuggets.

Thunder won 127-103, pulling away late, a close game throughout.

The Thunder outscored Denver by 21 in the fourth quarter.

I'd say the pulling away started late in the third.

Shea Gilders-Alexander finished with 40 points.

Really, this game, maybe this is the one that decides MVP.

Nicola Yokic, good, not as good, 24 points, 13 rebounds, 9 assists.

So it was a close game by score.

Obviously, it was 127-103 in the end, but it wasn't really until mid-fourth that the Thunder

took a double-digit lead.

And I would say certainly a caveat as well,

that Aaron Gordon went out early, hits a three, gets an AN1, and then right calf tightness,

the same calf that has bedeviled him since the previous year, not previous season, but back

in 2024. And he's a very important player against the

Thunder or any team, as we'll get to. So that caveat applies. I didn't think this game was close,

just watching it. Now, I knew that it would end in a blowout and maybe that there's a little bit

of a self-fulfilling prophecy there in my mind.

But as I watched this, I felt like these teams, the Thunder were on a different level from the
