No, this survival instinct wants me to sit in a corner, eat food and procreate.

And when you're in that survival instinct, you can't create, can't grow.

And most people, unfortunately, are just living kind of a photocopy of the previous day,

and they can never really get out of it, and they don't even know they're doing that.

Because as far as your mind is concerned, it's kept you alive until today.

It doesn't care if it's a good thing or a bad thing.

It just knows that it's familiar, it's safe.

So we're caught in this habit loop.

Because your brain just goes, please do yesterday. So many people don't know they're in prison because they can't see the chains.

Everyone is just happy with average.

As long as I'm doing okay, that's brilliant.

And life is not about that.

My first memory of life on this planet was the chimp.

Ten years old at the circus,

found this baby chimp,

and in the shadows, mommy or daddy making

its way to me at Mac 10, landing on my chest, pinned me to the floor, and then the first

fist.

And I went somewhere I never knew it existed in that moment, and I honestly heard this voice that

said, it doesn't end today, Ollie.

And that just gave me enough courage to retaliate.
