Hey there. I'm so glad you stopped by for this podcast. We hope so much we can serve you today.

Now I want you to go with me. Notice that it gets to the end of the account in Matthew,

chapter 9, and verse 26. It talks about them going in. Listen, it's important that you know

this. I'm trying not to sidetrack too much here. It is important that you know that in Mark's

gospel, Jesus takes Peter, James, and John in with him, but he makes everybody else go out. Why?

Because he is creating an atmosphere of faith. Remember that he said, she's not even dead,

Jesus sleep. I mean, like I'm coming to wake her up, and they're all like, I mean, they all laugh

at him, laugh at him. I mean, that's the thing about those mourners is that in a moment,

when the Hitler came, they laughed. And so he gets them out. It is a astonishing place in Mark's

gospel where it says that Jesus himself marveled because he could do so few miracles in a particular

town because there was so little faith. What a crazy thing. That's something else I cannot explain

to you if I tried. I might have tried it 10 years ago. I'm not going to try it today. It's just

mysterious. It's something else you say into us. I mean for you to come with your faith to me,

and as you do, I will do things you could not have scripted had you tried. So there's this atmosphere

if I get around some people. You may not have a whole church full, but do you know a few people

that are just people of faith? People willing to believe God with you. Sometimes you can even find them

out there. Maybe today there are people that you can email back and forth. We don't even have to

necessarily be faced to face with them. Get some people in your loft that have faith.

See what Jesus will do. It says then in verse 26, news of this spread throughout all of that

region. Keep that in mind because the reference of it is over the young girl, the 12-year-old,

that he touched and literally brought back to life because it says that he touched the girl. He

took her by the hand and she got up. One reaches out. One is taken by the hand. Both are healed.
