We get to hang out yeah you bet. You have been a pastor, a podcaster, a author, a speaker, like there's so many different things. Can you give us a say just kind of an overview for people that haven't met you before?

Like who you are and what you're about?

You're a lawyer?

Like, yeah, yeah, we have that in common.

So there are the things you think you're going to do with your life and then there's what God does with your life, right?

Which is two different things. So from the time I was a little kid I wanted to be a lawyer and kind of pursued that dream.

Had a few left and right turns, went into radio, walked into a local radio station when I was 16 and said,

I want to be on the radio and they put me on the radio, which was fun.

Oh man. Yeah, it was back in the day and then did a little bit of journalism but went to university, went to law school in the middle of law school

All up in Canada, all up in Canada, yeah, went to law school and between first and second year law fell to call into ministry.

So I had grown up in the church, I was like, what is this?

So discerned it for a few years, finished law, went into seminary, thought, I don't have any gifts for ministry, not a chaplain, pastoral type.

I'm kind of a leader, Enneagram 8, who on a good day can be decent, on a bad day,

I'm like, what do I do? And halfway through seminary found these

three little churches an hour north of Toronto and went there when I was 30 years old to be

their student pastor. I wasn't doing the students, I was doing years old to be their student pastor.
