In this parable, the Lord Jesus is teaching us not to despise the day of small beginnings.

Small is how we started, but not how we thought.

The goal of influencing countless generations was the vision.

And we began doing this without a million dollar

budget a multi-million dollar campus a large student body or even a lot of

support and yet our small pact a punch because it was loaded with conviction a

serrated edge and a Protestant unwillingness to conform to the status quo.

The goal has never been to survive or be comfortable.

It has always been to joyfully and courageously fulfill our mission to establish leaders who are a righteous nuisance to the ensuing chaos.

Leaders who are armed with tools to build cultures

of excellence. The future is ours to win under the Lordship of Christ in order for his

sovereign knowledge to cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. We aren't ashamed of our

humble beginning. We embrace it ashamed of our humble beginning.

We embrace it, knowing that upon that great foundation, the future is full of light.

We need to talk it's been we need to talk it's been a rough ride from a

culture bent on burning itself down to attacks from within but by the grace of
