All right, so let's turn it over to

Deuteronomy chapter 2, verse 24.

For those of you that weren't here, I started teaching from Deuteronomy 224, and this is Moses just a day or so before he died, rehearsing everything that God had done, reminding them of what the

Lord had commissioned him to do and telling them how to enter in and possess the land.

And he said in Deuteronomy, 2 verse 24 he says rise he up

take your journey and pass over the river Arnon

behold I have given into thine hand,

Saigon, the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land,

begin to possess it and contend with him in battle.

And just a few weeks ago, I was reading this and boy, God just showed me that just so much

of what the Christian life is all about is involved in this one instruction in this one

verse.

And so I've been teaching on seven things or seven steps to victory.

And the very first thing we talked about was rise up.

I did that on Thursday night.

Most of us are complacent.

Most of us have been lulled asleep.
