Hi everyone, it's Richard here on my own for boring logistical reasons for this Otter Sot on a Friday.

Since Johnny's not here, I thought I would just mop up a few questions that we've had, which were directed specifically at me.

Most of them about Top Gear, but some of them not.

I start with one from Stephen Cook, who apparently is in Portland, Oregon. Stephen says with all the cars and

challenges during Top Gear and Grand Tour, the opportunity for licensing seemed really good.

How cool would it have been to have scale extra Botswana challenge cars or the

TG car boat challenge cars done in 143rd scale? Was there a reason merchandising the holy heck out

of those shows was never done? I don't know because at the time it felt like there was a lot

of merchandising. There was a lot of stig-related products.

And I can't remember if some of them made it through

or if they were just at the prototype stage.

Because I feel like every so often I'd find myself invited into a meeting

where there'd be some new products.

And there was definitely like

stig soap on a rope and i can't remember if that got through or if someone expressed a concern

that as the stig was used he would become more and more weird and alien-like and it didn't look

very on brand but i don't remember generally the quality control being that picky um I've got here

in my office at home where I'm recording somewhere a little stig bobblehead as well which I think that

was a prototype and there's I've got a stig Lego key ring and I can't remember if those were sold

there was a relationship with Lego,

but they never took it as far as maybe they could have done. Because you could imagine,

you know, they do sort of Lego like the set of Friends or the set of Seinfeld or whatever.
