As the end of the Victorian era drew to a close, the residents of London, England were plagued with paranormal happenings.

The peculiarities began after a large Russian ship crashed onto the shore.

The ship carried boxes of earth, a ferocious dog,

and a corpse clutching a crucifix. Later, a strange illness began to disturb society. A proper

young lady was afflicted. She was robbed of her color, energy, and later her life.

Witnesses were horrified by two ghastly puncture wounds, which marked her throat.

Soon after, reports of child abductions began to spread across London.

When the children were returned to their families, they too were injured

with bloody gashes upon their necks. Panic swept through the city streets when the mysterious

occurrences could only be explained by a force that was undead. A force none other than

Count Dracula.

and cemented author Bram Stoker as a master of the horror genre.
