As you probably know,

the Scotland Outdoors podcast is built out of a live radio program we do for BBC Radio Scotland called Out of Doors.

And this week it was, as ever, a varied bag.

We had a wingless moth.

We looked at outdoor swimming pools, one active, one inactive.

And now we think we got to the bottom of an old Scottish expression, the chittering bite.

All right, out of doors and under

shelter this morning. It's a quality of mercy

day today. It's dropping like the gentle rain.

It's actually not that gentle. It started off

gentle. It was actually really nice. It was like being

in a Japanese garden. And it's just dingin' down now. I'm Mark Stephen. 40 miles odd north

than Bamsha, Mr. Ewan Magalryth. Yeah, where it's clouds burning off, the blue sky's coming
