I really am delighted to be here.

As I said, this is, you know, I've had some challenges throughout my recovery, and it's really

been a journey.

And a lot of the things that people told me when I

first came into AA and I thought they were full of it and I didn't understand they were all

pretty spot on with everything so I'm going to share some of that with you today but first

let me tell you a little about me.

I am, I won't tell you how old I am.

You can figure that out.

But I get sober in 2002, December of 2002,

and came out of recovery, joined the welcome group, and I've been a member of the welcome group

since then. I still have the same sponsor. I still go to meetings on a regular basis. I sponsor

young men, old men, and I try to share my experiences with them.

I'm still active in service.

I'm still active in meetings.

I do the best that I can.

It's not always great every week, but I do the best I can.
