Parenting on point is a five-week series looking at what it means to love God and live in the love of God

with all your heart, emotional life, soul, spiritual life, mind, mental life, strength

and physical life and help your neighbor do the same starting with your own family and the kids

that are sleeping in the bunk beds down the hall. So thanks for joining me. Hope

to be of service to you.

It's a parenting series. This isn't going to really be a parenting sermon. I mean, maybe it will be, but I don't think it's going to be. I think it's going to be really a sermon for you.

And how you can have a relationship not just with your

child but a relationship with God where you're his child and I believe once we

understand ourselves as God's child in relationship with Him,

that allows us to know how to parent children if we're given that great opportunity.

That being said, we live in a world where people aren't doing well.

You notice that?

How many of you, you're in a tough season,

you know somebody's in a tough season,

you're walking with people who are struggling, or you're just one who is paying attention to the news

People are not at rest people are not joyful people are not hopeful people are not kind at all

People are not patient with one another, they're not understanding of one another,

they're not compassionate toward one another, they're not committed or devoted to one another.
