Hey everyone, we're going to go get into it. This is our Olympic preview.

If you're one of those people out there that thinks comp climbing isn't climbing, I'd say,

stay with us. This is like any sport. You need to know the athletes, the characters, the backstories for it to have deeper meaning.

In the greater world of climbing, we have our legends, you know, the stone masters, the innovators, the alpinus.

And right now in this chapter climbing, we're witnessing some new legends emerge,

the next generation, Lynn Hills and Chris Sharma's, the people from the past.

So if you're interested in how the sport's going to evolve, you should definitely be interested in what is happening in Paris this summer.

So, all right, first things first,

when are the Olympics,

and how do we watch them?

Because those are important.

Yeah, so the Olympics technically start on July 26th,

but climbing doesn't start until August 5th.

Climbing is in the second week at the Olympics.

So climbing runs from August 5th until August 8th, the women's final being one of the last events of the Olympic Games.

Where do we watch it?

Because I kind of remember that being a nightmare last time in Tokyo.

Yeah, so you can watch an NBC, but that'll be heavily edited and sort of packaged.
