The big news this week in Major League Soccer, Greg Berthalter is returning to the league.

He was named director of soccer and the head coach of the Chicago Fire.

He is, as I might say, a soccer czar,

one of two in the league following Peter Vermeese.

It might seem like an outdated role.

Too much to chew on. But Paul will help us understand what sort of

hires Greg needs to make to make the soccer side of the fire hum again for the

first time and I would argue 15 years at least what sort of d.

The fire might pursue could they be current US men's

national team players of a high profile or perhaps a lesser one and what happens next? What are the next steps for this club and

Greg Berhalter in a new role back in Major League soccer. Remember two games

this weekend one on Saturday one on Sunday both at 730 p.m. Eastern time

Carlos Hill injured he will miss the rest of the season per New England but the crew have plenty to play for in terms of seating and priority for
