0:08.6	starts with talking about how K-pop fits into the world of the Black Lives Matter movement
0:12.6	and the protests against police brutality. Right. So if you're unaware, K-pop fans have proven
0:16.3	themselves to be an incredibly strong force on the internet, and specifically social media, with the power to make pretty much anything go viral.
0:22.4	And among the things we've seen them do over the past two weeks,
0:24.6	I mean, you have examples of them spamming tip lines.
0:26.7	When you had the Dallas Police Department,
0:28.2	the police in Grand Rapids, Michigan, asking for tips,
0:31.0	saying, hey, send us videos.
0:32.5	The K-pop fans spamming that app and portal
0:35.0	with K-pop fan cams. Reportedly when the FBI asked for similar tips.
0:38.7	People started to flood them the same way,
0:40.2	with some also submitting videos of officers
0:42.0	beating demonstrators, shooting rubber bullets,
0:44.1	and firing tear gas during protests.
0:45.9	Kpop fans have also been hijacking hashtag.
0:48.4	For example, when some try to get White Lives Matter
0:50.6	trending, you had fans spending days
0:52.2	to make sure that the hashtag was just full of fan cam, song lyrics, and anything that could generate confusion.
0:56.0	Though here there's been a little bit of a debate.
0:58.0	You know, some have criticized the move saying that, well, you've made the hashtag trend for days.
