It was just a little over a year ago when Donald Trump got his first big

challenger in this whole election. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis decided that he

would enter the Republican primary and he was going to challenge Donald Trump for their

nomination and right out of the gate. Almost immediately things did not go well for

the governor who decided he was going to launch his campaign in a live interview on Elon Musk's social media

platform which back then was still called Twitter. Now it's quiet.

All right, well, it's certainly an incredible honor

to have Governor Santos make this stark announcement.

It went on like that for 25 minutes.

There were glitches and technical difficulties and it was just a colossal

embarrassment for everyone involved. In the wake of that train wreck,

Donald Trump posted on his social media site,

wow, the Desanctus Twitter launches a disaster.

His whole campaign will be a disaster.

And that's sort of set the tone for the rest of Desantis' flop of a presidential campaign.
