Very controversial moment when Athlete were awarded a penalty for what was deemed to be a step from Aureliot Chouemini on the foot of

Samuel Lino. The referee did not give it, but he was called to VAR. And after that review,

a penalty was given. It was scored by Julian Alvarez in some style and it made it 1-0

at the half. However, in the second half, Mbapé would get the leveller

and the points were shared between these two sides.

1-1 it finished.

Luis, you thought it would be a draw.

You went for 2-2, it was 1-1 in the end.

What did you make of the final results in this game overall?

Yes, overall I think it's a little bit of what we were expecting,

Halitiko in Madrid waiting for their options, very low block, not giving much space to

Real Madrid, knowing that of course when the space was created in the second half, because of course you get tired and you try to get something extra

and real Madrid used that in their advantage to try to exploit it with being a unit on the left side but the first 45 minutes there were not good enough for both sides even though that Aleticoe Madrid got that first goal from the penalty And in the second one, I think that Real Madrid understood that they needed to increase that intensity.

And they started moving the ball faster, try to open the ball and bring in the ball to Vinny Jr., to Rodrigo in the right side, to Pelingham or even in Bapé.
