You know, look, I, first first off thank you for stepping up today our

guest unfortunately couldn't make it and I actually I hope she's okay because we

haven't heard from her.

We've kind of been on this standby.

So I just want to send some good vibes out for her

and also just thank you, Peter,

for stepping up last minute like this. Absolutely, happy to do so. You know you and me have been on a very similar journey over the past four years

going from being lifelong Democrats to you, waking up and seeing the Democratic Party for what it truly is.

You know, a corporatist party that punches left, capitulates to Republicans, feeds the people,

empty platitudes, and governs for its corporate donors.

Do you want to talk a little bit about your journey

and what was the catalyst for you for finally waking up?

Yeah, I'll tell I'll say Ryan though my journey is a little bit more of a sort of

full circle because as you may know I used to be a house music producer and keyboardist for

for many years out of college I was in the music business so I was not really

involved in politics all during the 90s you know, my life was with nightclubs and recording studios and traveling around the world performing.

But in 2000, when George W Bush was selected president, I decided to get active.

And that was the beginning of blogs in the online world.

And people just started to get into chat rooms.
