And I thought this week that Miles and I would discuss a little bit of my

off season football rankings. I rank the teams in football morning in America 1 to 32.

Miles will tell me where I'm out of my mind. I already know a few of those places.

And so we'll get into that. We're also going to get

into a few other topics. One had an interesting conversation with Brian Goudecans to the Packers, the general manager,

and we're going to discuss Green Bay's quarterback ethos in moving on from Aaron Rogers.

In addition, we will also do a segment

about what I found incredibly enlightening

from Frank Reich about the Carolina coach about what convinced

him to make his decision that Bryce Young should be the guy and I think you'll get a kick out of that and I'm also

going to talk a little bit about and get Miles input about my real pet peeve about the

coaching interview process which is that it just shouldn't take place until after

the Super Bowl.

That is in a little bit of the headlines because obviously

the Arizona Cardinals paid a price

for breaking the rules and interviewing and talking to Jonathan Gannon outside of the regular parameters and they paid with a 28 draft slot penalty moving down in the third round with Philadelphia

because they broke the rules and talked at an illegal time with Jonathan Gannon.

So there's all that and then I'm going to explain a little bit of why I'm taking the first sort of long break of my sports writing career.

For the next 11 weeks, I won't be writing the column.
