Hey, everybody, welcome back to another episode of the Catholic Talk Show.

0:03.6

Today we're going to be looking at the question, is our next pope going to be our last pope?

0:08.7

That's right. We're going to look at some prophecies that say the next pope after Francis will be the last pope ever, including the prophecy of St. Maliki, the prophecy of St. Paul's outside the wall, and more.

0:54.3

Yeah. of St. Paul's outside the wall and more. All right. Yeah, before we jump into this, you know, I'm familiar with a few of these different prophecies, but I haven't really dived into them, but I'm hearing a lot online. So it'd be good to kind of peel back the onion on this thing and take a deeper look.

1:02.7

Yeah. Whenever the Pope is sick or there's a, you know, the election of a new pub coming up,

1:07.8

these things always come up because it's dealing with the unknown. And people all the way throughout all of history always want to tear apart the veil, look behind it,

1:12.1

and try to figure out what's going to happen. And the election of a pope or the death of a pope

1:16.1

is a very transitory time where people are wondering what's going to happen next. But there's one

1:22.2

that people always bring up that I think will be the core of what we talk about today. And that's

1:25.4

the prophecy of St. Maliki, which is going to be a really interesting thing to get into.

1:31.1

But before we do, I want to make sure that everyone watching us, click the like and subscribe button.

1:44.6

regularly actually click the subscribe button. So if you're one of those, go ahead, click that button.

1:49.8

It helps us out a lot. So Ryan, you know, what do you know about prophecy in general? What's

1:56.0

your thought on how people should deal with prophecy? Yeah, we had, that was a good conversation we had before this started.

2:03.8

It's, you know, the Jewish faith preceding, you know, Christianity relied on prophets, right?

2:14.5

Not just the prophets in the Old Testament, but also, like I remember being in Jerusalem

2:19.6

and celebrating Shabbat with a Jewish guy and going to the synagogue, and he had these pictures

2:25.8

of these people up on his wall. So I asked him about it, and he mentioned that these were the prophets.

2:32.1

These were, so in this continuum of prophecy and prophets in the Jewish faith, they uphold the dignity of what they call prophets in their faith.

2:44.6

You know, obviously the Catholic Church, I think, can separate that into prophets, you know, in the Old Testament.
