Maricio Hoeditino is the new head coach of the US men's national team.

Not necessarily a surprise to anyone, but certainly I think cause for celebration and for excitement.

This has long been rumored.

It was just a matter of actually getting the contract signed.

Came on here today for the game and it was announced that it is sign sealed and delivered.

There was a nice little video from Mauricio, wherever he is right now.

New York for I'm sure some sort of hoopla and full announcement.

There was a nice little video from Emma Hayes, the U.S. Women's

National Team coach and I think it's generally being met with enthusiasm and

excitement despite what's going on on the field right now. So good

things to look forward to good things to look ahead. I mentioned earlier that my

friend David Mossy will join us here in a second once he gets his

technical situations sorted out. But we wanted to talk about it and we wanted to you know gauge what everybody is feeling here

because I think for a long time we have talked about the fact that this men's national team, led by, in this case, Pochitino, has some work to do.
