Okay so let's get right into it and it's kind of been a little bit of a slow week as you'd expect from the

holiday weekend so I kind of had to scrounge a little bit for stuff so I thought

I'd give you a little bit of an update on that Russian hacking story and for

all intents and purposes it seems to be growing and now American officials who are responsible for our

cybersecurity are getting kind of worked up by what they have missed for at

least nine months.

And this is that hacking now believed to have affected upward of 250 federal agencies and

businesses. And this wasn't just Russia aiming at the election system,

but at the rest of the United States government

and many large American corporations.

So remember, this came to light kind of a couple weeks ago.

And our officials are still trying to understand

whether what the Russians pulled off was simply an espionage operation inside the systems of American

bureaucracy or something more sinister, like inserting backdoor access into government agencies major corporations the
