Felicitations! My name is Felicia Dan. This is my podcast. Welcome everybody. Do I sound a little stuffy?

I still have some greens not in my throat. Uh, that was too descriptive. I'm sorry. I have a lot to

unload. If you listen to I'm addressing you know that the last month has been awesome, work-wise,

horrific, personal-wise. I mean, it's not horrific. It could certainly be worse. But also, it's not

because I've had so much awesome work. I was, I've been basically working through. I don't know,

either the flu or recovering from the flu or some just horrible combination of illnesses that my

petri dish of, you know, kid who goes to a petri dish every day to kindergarten brings home.

It has been real stressful. So, like three weeks ago, um, my daughter got sick and it was the week

that we were going to get at flu shots, which was just a week after they were announced, you know,

and released. And, um, basically, uh, she got sick. My partner got sick. I got sick. I got well,

pretty well, uh, fast, but then I developed a sinus infection, just like I did after COVID. My

kid got pretty well. So, so I actually was able to kind of recover, but then my voice was shot

for two weeks, which is not great because all my work was literally talking into a mic. So,

I'm going to have to redo a lot of stuff, but all that said is my partner got pneumonia. So,

I had to fly my brother out to cover the homestead while I flew six times in less than three weeks

with a horrible sinus infection. And if you've ever had an ice pick jab in your ear,

if you have, I mean, this is what it feels. I'm sure that's what it feels like. So, not great,

um, not great, but at the same time, I got to go give a speech in Ohio and see the leaves turn,

which I did not think I was going to. The leaves were so beautiful there last weekend. I got

to go to New York City Comic Con for literally like, again, 36 hours, just like I went to Ohio,

the weekend after to moderate the panel for the Lord of the Rings, the rings of power,

and announced that I have been for the last two months recording the official companion podcast,
