What we're looking out on from the edge of the garden

is really a wildlife corridor.

It's a corridor through the island.

From my studio, I have seen Snipe.

Beyond that fence, bordering the bottom of the garden,

we've seen both kinds of harriers, marsh and hen.

From the kitchen window, this sounds like showing off,

and it's not meant to we watch the

the osprey coming to feed on the local lochan just after us if i had ospreys out the back

garden i'd be showing off too so it's just a most extraordinary corridor for for wildlife it just

feels it feels quite a privilege to here. But we've cut across

the wilds and the wild still comes back in, which is lovely.
