All charges against Jesse Smollett have been dropped.

It was only a few weeks ago.

A grand jury returned 16 felony indictments against the actor, but today,

all of the charges have been dropped and the story is rather strange and confusing.

Earlier today, even CNN was confused because although they're claiming all charges are dropped,

just to let still head to four-fit ten thousand dollars and they cited him doing community service

as a reason for dropping the charges so there were still punitive action taken against him,

which would kind of imply some kind of guilt.

Chicago police are outraged as is the mayor calling this a white wash of justice.
