But it highlights the role of policing under an unjust system or racial capitalism.

It's there to maintain the boundary between us, the peasants, whose rights are constantly under threat,

the ones who are constantly told,

we need to be civil to our very oppressors

who attack our everyday needs and our everyday rights.

The police helps to reinforce that boundary of us and the ruling elite.

The ruling elite is the the scotis members who can make decisions about our lives.

Police are there to keep us in check and to make sure we don't do what we're doing right now.
