talking about pope francis's recent statements on immigration.

That's right. We're lucky enough to be joined by Dr. Taylor Marshall to discuss the Catholic

Church's teaching on immigration, the competing statements from the current administration

in the Vatican, and much more. Welcome, Taylor's, good to see you.

Welcome, Taylor's good to see you. Glad you're on the show today. The Catholic Church is in a stir yet once again with some statements that Pope Francis made. And I couldn't think of a better guest than to have you on for clarity and what he's said and then also, you know, what the church

teaches in juxtaposition so that our audience can be more clear on this situation.

Yeah, well, it's great to be here.

And I think the interesting element to this is that it's an intramural Catholic discussion. I mean, you have J.D. Vance,

who I think kicked off the discussion. He is a Catholic convert, newer in his faith. He converted

a few years back to the Catholic Church. And, you know, he's working under President Trump.

And in an interview, he talked about the Ordo Amoros or the Order of Love.

It goes back to St. Augustine. Thomas Aquinas talks about it as well.

Thomas Aquinas actually called it the Ordo Caritatis, the Order of Charity.

And so I think it's a great discussion.

It's interesting to see a Pope weighing in on it.
