I'm your host Anne Marie Green, and today we are talking to correspondent Peter Vance and field producer Kat Turfs about the case of John Blavelt, a military recruiter found guilty of stabbing his young wife, Katie, in Simpsonville, South Carolina, back in 2016.

However, before authorities had enough evidence to arrest him for murder, he went on the run

Peter, you were in the room with the murder weapon. I'm wondering what it was like.

I know you've seen a lot of different pieces of evidence in murder cases, but what was it like to be

in the room with this piece of evidence? It's a real solemn, heartbreaking moment. This is the weapon

that was one of the last things that Katie Blavelt saw on this earth. It was selected by
