Okay friends, it is time for you and me to get our hearts ready to pray together. God we honor you as a creative universe as the one who sustains our lives and holds every cell of our bodies together.

You are good and powerful and mighty and we bow before you.

We just want to align our hearts with yours right now,

seeking to abide in Jesus as we pray. You tell us that when we abide in you and your words

abide in us, we're able to ask whatever we wish and it will be done

for us. And Lord Jesus, I believe that means that as we stay close to you and your word begins to take root in our lives,

we begin to see things the way you see them.

And we are able then to pray accordingly according to how you see

things because that's your will and that is your way in these circumstances

so we ask you to help us do that as we lift these requests to you today.

Our sister Stacy writes to us asking us to pray for her mom because her dad has passed away after being married for 62 years.

And Lord, I know this is just a heavy sorrow on the hearts of this woman, but also on the hearts
