Listen, what we live for at Living Proof

is to serve people the Word of God. We base our ministry on Hebrews 412 that tells us that the

word is alive and active. We pray this message is going to serve you in some way today

and that God is going to speak through it. Thank you so much for giving us this privilege.

Ladies, what John was faced with doing in his huge crisis was going back and really recalling what was the

promise God made over my life because often when you and I stay with me here let's all just

stay connected to the very end here when you and I are in a full-out crisis and

something happens one of our first reactions is to think,

God did not do what he said.

He did not do what he said.

He told me this, and then this happened. Y'all it happens all the time.

It happens all the time in our churches where somebody will just be absolutely positive that

God told them so and so and then something else happens and so they're

tremendously offended with God because he misled them now he is incapable of

lying he cannot lie so something has happened. We've misunderstood something.

Is that fair to say? Listen, I had a friend who was absolutely positive that the

Lord told her that she was going to marry a certain young man.

She was still holding on to that in her devastation before God.

I talked to her years later, 10 years had come and gone, and I said,

what in the world is the hang up?
