James Madison famously says, if men were angels, they wouldn't need government.

And, of course, the inference behind that is men aren't angels, that men actually are very far from angels.

And so they need to be governed for that very reason.

Sometimes up to 25% or even more of the, particularly like in the New England Journal of Medicine,

of the space for these magazines is taken up with this kind of ideological advocacy. Sometimes I think these editors

are more interested in politics than they are in science. So when God says he loves us, he's not

saying that he has warm fuzzies for us. He's saying that he has taken action

for us to save us in Jesus. Love is not what God feels. It's what God does. What is the manifestation

of the reality of God? The sacraments, the pure preaching the gospel, ensure that God is the one who is making himself manifest

and we're looking outward to where he is giving himself and how he is giving himself framed by the

Holy Word of God. New Hampshire shepherdesses love to listen to issues, etc.

In time, Ronald Reagan went from ambivalence toward the pro-life movement to being an advocate,

actually even writing a book about abortion and the conscience of a nation.

Some people look at President Donald Trump, especially here in his second term,

and they're saying, as pro-lifers, that they're getting mixed messages. He's restoring a lot of protections for the unborn, but he's also still yet to come around on a few of the, well,

maybe in his case, the more nuanced issues regarding the protection of the unborn.
