Russian President Vladimir Putin Tuesday to discuss the ceasefire to end the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The president says he feels like they're close to a deal.

We're getting down to a very critical stage, and we want to get the whole Russia-Ukraine thing done. And I think Ukraine wants it.

I know they want it. Everybody wants it. It's tremendous death. The bloodshed is unbelievable.

President Putin says he agrees in principle to a U.S. proposed ceasefire but wants more details to be worked

out. The Trump administration insists it is complying with federal court

orders as it continues deporting migrants accused of gang membership. Fox's Jared Halpern reports from

the White House. Deportation flights to El Salvador for hundreds of alleged members of

Venezuelan and Central American gangs were lawful, press secretary Caroline Levitt says,

and did not violate a federal judge's ruling

to turn aircraft back to the U.S. All of the planes that were subject to the written order,

the judge's written order, took off before the order was entered in the courtroom on Saturday.

Dozens of migrants accused of being members of the Venezuelan gang Trend de Aragua were on that aircraft and deported by the president invoking the rarely used alien enemies act.

Officials say that law applies since TDA is a designated foreign terror organization.

Texas is closing a jail booking facility along the southern border.

The facility that was used to process arrested migrants crossing the U.S. Mexico border

is one of two that opened in recent years as part of Texas' $11 million border crackdown.

It was opened in Jim Hogg County, southeast of Florida in 2022, and booked people being held on

border-related crimes, including criminal trespass. A similar facility in Valverde County remains open.
