This is John Batchel, a conversation with David Diyud of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracy,

asking, is Hezbollah on the path to surrender? There was a report recently that they were looking

to disarm, or at least in some fashion, submit to the overwhelming force of the IADF. However, David corrects all that with the recent

targeted killing of a deputy commander in charge of resupply and how they resupply and how

useless the Lebanese government and Lebanese armed forces are. Hezbollah re-arming. Here's David

Dalyu to describe the conditions and much more of this to now.

Well, Unit 4,400 is the Hezbollah unit or Hasbola body responsible for importation of weapons for

Hezbollah.

So Israel had targeted the commander, former commander during the war, I think it was like October of 24.

And then days later killed his deputy commander in Damascus, in Meza, Meza in neighborhood, neighborhood of Damascus.

So Nasser would be the replacement of the deputy commander that was killed back in October.

This suggests that Hezbollah's efforts to rearm, to regenerate predictably, obviously, are ongoing.

This ties with, you know, reports recently of things in J-post and in Aruba,

where an unnamed Western security source said Hezbollah is trying to rearm through Beirut-Port.
