Veronica's in class and they're learning about solar eclipses when she gets a note from her

friend who we will learn is named Rosa, asking, do you have it?

The teacher starts talking about cultural history surrounding eclipses and says that in a lot of culture's sacrifices tend to be done during solar eclipse. The class breaks to go to the roof to watch the

eclipse, but Veronica and Rosa have other plans. They go to a room to hide to let crowds filter

out, and Rosa says she's inviting another girl, Diana. Veronica is displeased. The three of them

head to the basement and Veronica pulls out an encyclopedia of the occult.

I need that.

I need that book.

The Encyclopedia of the occult?

Yes.
